Vickie Acree: I was born and raised in Denver, CO and have lived in Fairbanks since 2003. I proudly served in the U.S. Army for 6 years, where I discovered my true passion for helping others. I completed the 1200 Hour Professional Massage Therapist program and graduated from Ashmead College in Seattle, WA in 2002. I focused my training in Sports Massage and have worked in both gym and clinical settings. Upon my arrival to Fairbanks, I attended the University of Alaska Fairbanks and studied Business with an emphasis in Finance.
I have worked with world class athletes to include national swimmers, Boston Marathon qualifiers, competitive weight lifters, and circus performers with a popular Las Vegas show. I support our local military community and have worked closely with the U.S. Army to provide massage services to those assigned to the Warrior Transition Unit.
I have always led an active lifestyle and believe in physical and mental fitness. Whether I am doing yoga, hiking, swimming, or lifting weights I know and understand the stress my body endures and the nurturing needed to keep me healthy. I love working with people and sharing the benefits of massage with athletes of all levels.
